Denmark increases control on distance sellers

As part of the initiatives to reduce VAT fraud in the online environment, the Danish tax authorities introduced a number of changes and additional controls on businesses selling goods and services over the internet


Changes for distance sellers in Denmark

As from 1 January 2016, the authorities can request further information on transactions with foreign suppliers within the e-commerce industry and for all distance sellers.

Strict measures for distance sellers in Europe

E-commerce businesses are subject to an increasing control by the tax authorities across Europe. UK has just announced additional compliance measures for companies selling goods through the internet.
