As announced previously, Hungary requires all registered businesses (including non-established companies) to use a certified software to keep record of all their invoices. Microsoft Excel is not accepted as Certified software and is not yet clear whether ERP systems held abroad would be acceptable.
This requirement is particularly challenging for companies without human or technical presence in Hungary. Hungary has not taken a flexible approach with these businesses in the past, therefore we recommend getting assistance to ensure compliance with this requirement.
