Pedro Pestana da Silva

CEO & Founder

As the CEO and founder of Marosa, Pedro shapes the strategic direction and ethos of the company. Pedro epitomizes a leadership style that embraces transformation and innovation, recognizing the pivotal role of data and analytics in driving company growth. He is a visionary who fosters creativity within his teams, while ensuring their aspirations align with the organization's financial and operational constraints.

Pedro advocates for a purpose-driven ethos within the company, emphasizing its societal impact.. Pedro acknowledges the importance of fostering an inclusive environment where individuals can authentically contribute, believing it leads to superior outcomes.

With a masters degree in law and experience in VAT and other indirect taxes, after spending time at the Big 4 in Brussels, Singapore and London, Pedro understands the intricacies of international business and the challenges inherent in scaling operations across diverse regulatory landscapes.

Outside the professional realm, Pedro dedicates quality time to his family. He is also the founder of 'One, Two,...Tree!' a non-profit organization introducing English classes to children and unemployed people in Central America.

Ignacio Martinez Geijo

CFO

As the Chief Financial Officer at Marosa, Ignacio (or Nacho as he is commonly referred to), leads all aspects of finance and accounting. In this capacity, he is responsible for key business functions such as tax, treasury accounting operations, and financial planning and analysis.

Nacho's approach to business is centred around recruiting top talent, providing them with clear strategic objectives, and empowering them with the autonomy and support needed to achieve their goals. With extensive experience finance, accounting and FP&A, he has held prominent financial roles at large multi-nationals.

Outside of work, Nacho enjoys exploring the Europe with his wife and two children.

Alejandra Lasa Saracibar

COO

In her role as Chief Operations Officer - Alejandra is a driving force, constantly pushing boundaries within Marosa, She not only reimagines our internal operations but also transforms the way we serve our clients. Collaborating seamlessly across departments, Alejandra is dedicated to identifying, sharing, and actualizing the most effective strategies.

With her expertise in consulting and indirect taxes, Alejandra joined Marisa in 2019 after spending 7 years at Deloitte Belgium. Her deep understanding of customer needs and legislative requirements means she tirelessly investigates emerging requirements, ensuring our continuous innovation and customer satisfaction. Alejandra's visionary leadership has been pivotal in shaping our business, ensuring our customers receive the best solutions.

Every year, our team comes together for various charity events, walks, and activities aimed at supporting local NGOs and making a positive impact outside the office. We are proud to actively support the AECC (Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer), an organization dedicated to helping cancer patients and their families, as well as Erguete, an NGO working tirelessly to uplift underprivileged communities in Galicia, Spain. Through these initiatives, we strive to contribute to the well-being of our society and make a difference where it’s needed most.
