Dutch VAT Rate on Agriculture Products Raised by 2025
Dutch VAT Rate Raised from 1 January 2025 for certain agricultural goods and services.
Starting 1 January 2025, notable VAT changes will take effect in the Netherlands, notably impacting the VAT rate on certain agricultural goods, as well as the introduction of the EU small businesses scheme.

Key adjustments include the increase in the VAT rate from 9% to 21% for specific items. This rate hike will apply to non-food grains and legumes, seed potatoes for fruit and vegetable cultivation, feathered livestock, offal, beet roots, agricultural and horticultural seeds, round wood, straw, animal feed, flax, and wool.
