Belarusian electronic invoices introduced

Belarus recently introduced a new system of electronic invoices. All registered business need to issue electronic invoices in the format and e-file set by the authorities. These e-invoices are then sent to the customer through the portal of the tax authorities. VAT deduction will only be allowed when compliant electronic invoices are issued and sent through the authorities´ portal.
